North qualify for ECS Season 6

North are through to ECS Season 6 after defeating LDLC 2-0 (16-11 Nuke, 16-12 on Dust2) in the upper bracket final of the Challenger Cup.
The series in the ECS S6 Europe Challenger Cup kicked off on North's map pick, Nuke, but it was LDLC who got off to a flying start, winning eight rounds in a row on the CT side. Casper "cadiaN" Møller's new team remained calm and collected, losing just one more round to reduce the deficit to three rounds by halftime (9-6).
The second half was one-sided as North took the lead in the series after closing out the map 16-11 with Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye topping the scoreboard with a 1.54 rating.
LDLC started off their map pick, Dust2, on the right foot with a 3-0 lead after winning the pistol round as CTs. But North did not let them take any control of the half, with the Danes switching sides with a 10-5 score in their favour.
In the second half, North won the pistol round but the Frenchmen hit back immediately with a five-round winning streak to find a lifeline in the series. Nevertheless, with Philip "aizy" Aistrup paving the way for his team with 23 frags, North sealed the deal fairly easily, 16-12, to book their spot in the sixth season of ECS.
LDLC will have another shot at qualification when they take on OpTic in the consolidation final.
